about ocean education advocacy

At Ocean Education Advocacy, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach his/her potential.  We work with families of children with special educational needs to help them navigate the laws and regulations of Special Education.  We also work with young adults to help guide them through transitioning into independent living.businessmeeting1

Ocean Education Advocacy was founded to work with parents/families who have children/adults with special educational needs.  Navigating the educational system is extremely confusing and intimidating.  Working with an advocate helps families level the playing field and feel more confident in achieving their child's or family member's needs.

Although there are no State or Federal licensing guidelines and/or ethics standards for Special Education Advocates, Ocean Education Advocacy is committed to providing complete, comprehensive services, while maintaining confidentiality.  Our clients' needs are of utmost concern, and your case will be handled with due-diligence.  From your first contact to your final IEP meeting, our advocates will walk you throught he maze of laws, regulations and tactics you will meet along your child's educational journey.

Having walked this path many times with our own children, we understand the emotions that obstruct a parent's path.  We assure you that we are here as a sounding board and facilitator of your child's right to an appropriate education.
